Tea Princess Chronicles

Follow the adventures of Miyara, a princess who escapes her meaningless life and goes into hiding, as she finds her place in the world serving a struggling community by running a tea shop that sits on the edge of a magical disaster.

Tea Princess Chronicles began as a weekly web serial in 2017 and was successfully Kickstarted in 2021, funding in under an hour and a half and meeting its goal over 10 times over, to make the trilogy into books. A Coup of Tea

Tea Princess Chronicles Book 1

When the fourth princess of Istalam is due to dedicate herself to a path serving the crown, she makes a choice that shocks everyone, herself most of all: She leaves.

In hiding and exiled from power, Miyara finds her place running a tea shop in a struggling community that sits on the edge of a magical disaster zone. But there’s more brewing under the surface of this city—hidden magic, and hidden machinations—that threaten all the people who’ve helped her make her own way.

Miyara may not be a princess anymore, but with a teapot in hand she’ll risk her newfound freedom to discover a more meaningful kind of power.

A Coup of Tea is the first book of the Tea Princess Chronicles, a cozy fantasy series full of magic tea, friendship, and lifting people up even when the odds seem impossible.

TEA SET AND MATCH

Tea Princess Chronicles Book 2

Miyara saved the city of Sayorsen and the dragons. She was happy with the place she’d made for herself.

But every action triggers consequences.

Her older sister comes to drag her back to the palace and the meaningless life she hated. The tea guild won’t support her unless she succeeds on her own in their chosen challenge: a tea tournament, and the international politics and unrest that come along with it. And to top it all off, the border protecting the remaining world from the magical disaster zone is suddenly failing.

The path she’d thought was clear is twistier than ever, but armed with her trusty tea set Miyara will fight to keep it.

Tea Set and Match is the second book of the Tea Princess Chronicles, a cozy fantasy series full of magic tea, baby dragons, friendship, and lifting people up even when the odds seem impossible.

ROYAL TEA SERVICE

Tea Princess Chronicles Book 3

Miyara has saved the day, again.

And once again, the world has come calling.

Everyone wants a piece of the magical disaster zone for their own agendas, and some will stop at nothing to destroy the border and bring catastrophe down on the world. It’s up to Miyara to host a summit bringing all the players to one place so she can find out what’s going on and forge the connections necessary to stop it before it’s too late for everyone.

Failure means the end of the world. Miyara has no choice but to prove once and for all that her path in serving people with tea is powerful enough to matter.

Royal Tea Service is the third and final book of the Tea Princess Chronicles, a cozy fantasy series full of magic tea, baby dragons, friendship, and lifting people up even when the odds seem impossible.

SAIYANA’S CHALLENGE

A Story of the Tea Princess Chronicles (3.5)

Dramatic magic, delicate political intrigue, and risky romance? There’s only one princess for the job.

On paper, everything is fine. The world is saved, after all.

But Princess Saiyana, brilliant royal seneschal and one of the two most talented mages in history, is falling apart.

Not only has her ordered life been upended, she’s poised to lose the love of her life and her longtime rival—the other most talented mage in history—if she doesn’t take action. But there are no actions she can take to keep him that won’t put both of them in jeopardy.

Unless this time, it’s her turn to change all the rules.

“Saiyana’s Challenge” is a novelette set following the events of the Tea Princess Chronicles trilogy and contains spoilers.

Stand-Alone

CONSIDER THE DUST

In a world where a select few obtain godlike combat powers, one woman is going to shatter the universe.

The empress of the celestial palace has been omnipotent for centuries, but Kiran has a mysterious magic weapon and a plan to overthrow her, today—or so she claims.

Mai has her own magic blade, doesn’t trust Kiran as deeply as she can stab her with it, and is very, very good at stabbing. Not even Kiran can hope to stand against her anymore—or so she thinks.

Two lifelong rivals, or best friends. Definitely one of those.

One chance to change everything, or lose everything, forever.

Consider the Dust is a stand-alone novella and an epic adventure about the power of legends, hope, and fighting for your beliefs with everything you have.

An action-packed story about two warrior frenemies who are trying to decide what to do with each other. Filled with action, magic, and banter, this novella gives a wonderful insight into the type of writer Casey is.
